4 Candles on her cake!

Where does the time go?  My little baby is 4.  She’s fabulous, fun and feisty and I can’t wait to see what this year holds for her.  Sophia currently loves all things princess, her dogs and her school.  She’s a great traveler and regularly thinks we should be flying off to new and exotic destinations.  Australia is currently on her list — she’ll probably have to wait on that a bit! She’s a singer, and a dancer and an overall music lover.  While in the car she demands music, and wants it “louder please”, she eats almost anything, loves tomatoes and broccoli  but doesn’t like whipped cream, avocado or hot peppers. She’s adventurous, curious and can be a little crazy but she’s still our little “big girl”  who can’t sleep with out her “pink” blanket.

To celebrate, we had a few friends over for her birthday party yesterday.  We gave into the Oktoberfest time frame this year and added brats, potato salad and Brezen to the menu.  Her cake, as you see above, was one she’s been begging for and dreaming about for months now.  We finally caved into the whole princess thing, maybe if she overdoses she’ll get over it?!  In that vain we got her a full set of 7 princess barbies which, apparently, was the “most AMAZING present ever”.  Hmpf, guess we still have awhile to go.

The weather went from sunny and near 100 on Saturday to overcast and damp for the party but that didn’t slow down the fun, the bouncing or the overall mayhem!
