In record time no less.
It made it to NJ and cleared customs on Friday–yeah! And they are planning to deliver it to us tomorrow. Not a moment too soon, we’ve been surviving with the stuff we had in storage, it really hasn’t been awful but poor Sophia has watched Madagascar more times than she legally be allowed. We brought a few books and coloring supplies but they don’t hold her attention long. After her life of running around outside and on the beach she really just wants to be outside (too cold) or play with toys. Thankfully we have a TON coming back for her, I’m not sure who will be more thrilled she or us.
We’ve had a great weekend catching up with friends and family (I have cousins visiting from Germany) but we are really looking forward to getting our stuff back in and situated and resuming some “normalcy”. Thats definitely in quotes because with us you never know what that means!
Will take some pictures of the container being unloaded tomorrow and will post them when I can, I might need to take a break from unpacking here and there but our plan it to get everything done AS FAST as possible–wish us luck!
Best of luck with the container. It took Laura and I about 6 months to explore every box, but then we’d not seen the contents for more than 12 months and you are right it is strange how you can rapidly adapt to a more restricted choice set.
Hope the punk settles back in to the swing of things soon, spring is just around the corner.
Good luck tomorrow!
