Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a great New Year’s celebration and that 09′ is a positive year filled with Joy, Hope, Love and Laughter for everyone.

Oma’s been here and we’ve been busy, busy, busy.  More on all the goings-on later as we get back to the “normally scheduled program” but in the meantime I’ll tell you that yesterday we went to St. John, had lunch and then went on to Trunk Bay.  We got a chance to do some snorkling as Sophia graciously fell asleep on the beach for us.  I got to try out my fun new Christmas present and we saw a few little fish.  I will definitely need some more practice figuring out how best to get focus/lighting and all that figured out but figured I’d share the first attempt.

Wow, brilliant photos and what a super Christmas present/camera! My inner geek is intrigued as to how it seals the sockets for power and connectivity, and I’m awaiting your next collection of photos to see what else it can do!

UGH its going to be awhile, need to send it back for warranty work because it already took on water. Not impressed but they seem very willing to fix it. Got to wrap it and take it to the post office tomorrow, cross your fingers.
