Down here in the islands a “normal” Christmas tree just didn’t seem right so when we heard about this we had to get one!
I love it, its delightfully tacky and fun, and fits the island life just perfectly!
All dressed up for Christmas Eve dinner, we went to Blue Havanna–YUM. The weather had been rainy and windy all day but as we got there it cleared up and was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing as always.
Christmas morning was a blast. Sophia got all excited and a little overwhelmed when she saw all that was waiting for her under the tree. Santa got her a radio flyer tricycle which we thought would be the big hit but it turned out that the kitchen was the hands down favorite! To be fair she’s still exploring all her presents and is trying them all out but she definitely LOVES cooking up some “pastas” for any and everyone!
This picture cracks me up, Mickey in the background licken his chops looks like he’s ready for something good!
Oma is here!!! She showed up on the 23rd just before Santa Claus and has been soaking up some tropical sun and fun ever since.
Once we finished presents we went to Magens’ Bay and then came back home for the princess to nap before having some friends over for dinner. We hope you all had as fun filled a day as we did!
