Dancing Queen

Last night we went downtown to Miracle on Main Street – St. Thomas’s annual Christmas Street Fair.

To say Sophia had a ball would be an understatement.  The night was perfect and afterall had all her favorite components:  music, Christmas trees, BOATS–decorated nonetheless!  Food and of course her friend Marley.  It was a gorgeous night, and with the sound of steel drums playing all over, the perfect salute to an Island Christmas.

The daddy’s were busy chasing the girls — as Janelle and I were following behind with the strollers and Maya we got to watch the fun but mostly from behind as the girls went running and dancing down the street.

holdinghandsSophia was a dancing queen!  She danced and danced and danced, all the way down the street and back.  When she was exhausted, we got her some food and she kicked it off again!  She was having so much fun

The boat parade is small but festive, the girls loved it and happily shouted their Merry Christmas’s to everyone!  We liked the sailboat with the tree the best, who knows who the judges picked.

christmastreeboatboat2We were impressed that even the Marine Patrol got into the act!
